Dr. Arghya (Argo) Bhattacharya is an economist and an economics teacher. His areas of specialization is primarily in monetary economics and macroeconomics. He earned his PhD in Economics from the University of California, Irvine. Before that, he did his Master of Science in Quantitative Economics from the Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata, and a Bachelor's in Economics (with Honors) from Jadavpur University.
